Beetroot Powder

Beetroot, dried and ground fine. The colour is all beet.

A teaspoon is enough to turn a bowl of curd pink or give dosa batter a rosy blush. The flavour is mild and earthy, so it sits quietly behind your usual spices.

Ingredients: 100% dehydrated beetroot (Beta vulgaris). No added salt, sugar, colour or preservatives.

How to use

• Stir 1 tsp into a cup of curd for raita.
• Mix 1–1½ tsp into a cup of dosa batter until evenly coloured.
• Want a deeper colour? Add a pinch at a time.

Storage: Keep the pouch sealed tight and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Use a dry spoon. Best before 12 months from packing.
